This area features the wild plants from the islands of Öland and Gotland in the south of the Baltic Sea. These islands have a special flora due to the dry climate, the limestone bedrock and the long agricultural history. Here we shaped a small limestone plain (alvar), a seashore and a dry meadow with some of the characteristic plants.
