  • Christmas flowers and plants 2024-05-15 A lot of Christmas flowers have been planted in the Edvard Anderson Conservatory.
  • The Bergius Botanic Garden is open every day during Easter week 2022-04-05 The Edvard Anderson Conservatory, café and museum shop, is open every day during Easter week: Easter Thursday 11–16. Good Friday, Easter Eve, Easter Day and Easter Monday 11–17.
  • New grade-separated crossing at Frescati 2022-03-11 SL is building a new grade-separated crossing approximately 75 metres south of the existing crossing. At Frescati in Stockholm, they are closing the existing level crossing to build a new grade-separated crossing slightly south of it.
  • What kind of tree is your Christmas tree? 2021-12-23 The traditional Christmas tree in Sweden is the Norway spruce (Picea abies), a conifer with needle-like leaves.
  • Colors of Christmas – Juleskum 2021-12-19 Christmas in Sweden means having candy, and often a special Santa-shaped marshmallow called ‘juleskum’ (means Christmas foam). The red colour in juleskum has a very special origin. Gunvor Larsson at the Bergius Botanic Garden tells about it.

  • The Apple Day 2021-09-24 The Apple Day is celebrated on September 25'th every year. In the Orchard of the Bergius Botanic Garden you can see several of the apple varieties in an educational decoration. This year we show about 30 different varieties and several exciting plant diseases. The decoration can be seen until the beginning of October.
