Behind the spruce hedge is a lush, colourful plot with our common vegetables, such as cabbage, carrots, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, peas and beans. Also grown here are some old cultivars no longer on the market and needing to be preserved. In addition there are some interesting vegetables from other parts of the world, including Asia.
