The Italian terrace has been one of the outlooks of the garden ever since it was founded at the end of the 19th century. Here you can settle down and enjoy the beautiful view across lake Brunnsviken. The terrace is surrounded by flowerbeds with plants from the Mediterranean.

Close to the Italian Terrace you will also find the plot for tulips and bedding plants showing the great variation of cultivated plants. Tulips are grown here in spring and later on groups of summer plants, such as tagetes, verbenas and petunias – the theme changing from year to year.
