Liriodendron tulipifera, commonly called tulip tree or yellow poplar, is blooming in July. The flowers are yellow with an orange band at the base of each petal.

You can see the tulip tree next to the Bergius Foundation main building which is located straight ahead, on the right side, next to the big entrance to the garden.
