Directions to the Bergius Botanic Garden

We are located in Frescati just North of Stockholm, ca. 5 km North of Stockholm centre. The Garden lies between the eastern shore of lake Brunnsviken and Norrtäljevägen (the road N towards Norrtälje).

By car

Go Norrtäljevägen North from Stockholm centre and turn off at the exit at the Swedish Museum of Natural History.
Parking adjacent to the Garden is found under the road and across the railway.

By local train

The local train Roslagsbanan leaves from Östra station towards Näsbypark. Exit the train at Frescati, which is just by the Garden entrance. Please note that the station Frescati will close at june 15, 2009 and will reopen in a new location closer to the underground in the year 2010.

By Underground/Metro

Go by underground (red line) to Universitetet. Walk 10 minutes to the Garden or take a bus, see below.

By local bus

Go by bus 40 to the stop Bergiusvägen, or bus 540 to Frescati. It is possible to catch both of these buses outside the Universitetet Underground/Metro station.
