  • Scents of Christmas – Saffron 2021-11-28 Meet Gunvor Larsson who talks about saffron – one of the most popular scents and flavourings in Swedish food during Advent and Christmas, not least in 'Lussebullar'.
  • Christmas flowers and plants 2021-11-24 A lot of Christmas flowers have been planted in the Edvard Anderson Conservatory.
  • The Apple Day 2021-09-24 The Apple Day is celebrated on September 25'th every year. In the Orchard of the Bergius Botanic Garden you can see several of the apple varieties in an educational decoration. This year we show about 30 different varieties and several exciting plant diseases. The decoration can be seen until the beginning of October.
  • Dahlia next to the Victoria House 2021-09-06 Now the dahlias are blooming with amazing colors. They grow next to the Victoria House.
  • The tulip tree blooms in July 2021-07-02 Liriodendron tulipifera, commonly called tulip tree or yellow poplar, is blooming now. The flowers are yellow with an orange band at the base of each petal.
  • Information about the coronavirus 2021-04-13 The Bergius Botanic Garden has taken a number of measures in connection with Covid-19. The rules of the extended pandemic law for museum activities make it possible for us to carefully open up the business starting 13 April.
  • Blooming witch-hazel 2021-03-03 On the island of the Japanese pond stands a blooming witch-hazel.
  • Thread agave flowering 2020-08-26 Thread agave flowering in the California room, Edvard Anderson Conservatory. It will bloom for a long time in late summer and autumn.
  • Take a walk in the Rhododendron valley 2020-06-05 Rhododendrons are now in bloom in the Rhododendron valley.
  • Many lilacs in bloom 2020-05-29 Lilacs in many pastel hues are now in bloom at the Bergius Botanic Garden.
