  • A giant Agave salmiana is about to burst into flower 2019-06-13 A giant Agave salmiana is about to burst into flower in Edvard Anderson Conservatory. The specimen is c. 30 years old and has produced an inflorescence several meters high.
  • Closed on Midsummer 2019-06-05 The Edvard Anderson Conservatory and the Victoria House are closed on Midsummer Eve, Midsummer Day and June 23. The outside areas of the garden are open every day.
  • The dragon arum stinks 2019-05-23 Now the dragon arum (Dracunculus vulgaris) is blooming and spreading its unmistakable scent in the Mediterranean Hall. Our gardeners can ensure that it really stinks.
  • The Victoria House opened for summer season 1 May 2019-05-02 The Victoria House is open between May and September.
  • One of the earliest flowering plants 2019-03-22 Austrobaileya scandens is now blooming in the Subtropical room in the Edvard Anderson conservatory.
  • Blooming witch-hazel 2019-02-27 On the island of the Japanese pond stands a blooming witch-hazel.
  • Peach blossom 2019-02-15 It is still winter outside, but inside the Edvard Anderson Conservatory it is spring. It is time for peach blossom. The tree stands next to the pond in the Mediterranean Hall.
  • The almond tree is in bloom 2018-12-13 The almond tree only blooms during a few weeks in December in the Edvard Anderson Conservatory.
