The Edvard Anderson Conservatory opens on Tuesday–Friday from 13 April. The opening hours are extended with the full opening from 1 May when the Victoria House also opens. The outdoor parts are open as usual. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, the Bergius Botanic Garden has taken a number of precautions.

What have we done?

The Bergius Botanic Garden follows the authorities' recommendations on Covid-19.

  • We have limited the maximum number of visitors in the two conservatories.
  • We have removed all cash handling in the conservatories. You can pay by card in the Edvard Anderson Conservatory and with Swish in the Victoria House.
  • We have set up all program activities and booked screenings indoors.
  • We have limited the number of participants in outdoor guided tours to eight people.
  • We have introduced left-hand traffic in the conservatories to avoid meetings; signs and floor markings in the museum lead the way and urge to keep distance.
  • We have expanded our cleaning routines.
  • We have placed stations with rubbing alcohol around the greenhouses.

What can you do?

  • Stay home if you feel unwell. The garden is waiting for you when you have recovered!
  • Be sure to wash your hands often.
  • Keep a distance when you visit us, both in the conservatories and outdoors. We urge our visitors to keep a distance of 2 meters from each other and from staff.
  • Avoid public transport when you come here, feel free to come walking or by bicycle. Bicycles are parked at the entrances to the garden. Car parking is available at the garden's northern entrance (Gustafsborgsvägen 4) and under Roslagsvägen at Ekhagsrondellen.
  • Visit us at a time when not many others do. Take a morning walk in the park or visit the conservatories hours before closing.
  • Be patient if there is a queue at the greenhouse entrance.

  • The café in the Edvard Anderson Conservatory is closed, but it is possible to buy ice cream and cold drinks at the entrance.
  • The closest café and restaurant is in the Old Orangery,, 25 meters from the conservatory. They also have outdoor seating.

Please also follow our general rules and regulations.
