“Biodiversity in the light of historical information”

The conference was held at the Bergius Foundation, Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
Stockholm, Sweden, September 6–10, 2010.

Phylogenetic analyses and the use of historical data have greatly enhanced our ability to understand biodiversity in space and time. This international conference focused on recent progress in the use of biodiversity data for improved estimation of phylogeny and its various applications. In the picture the conference participants, from 16 different countries, are gathered outside the Royal Academy of Sciences building where the conference was held.
