Welcome to the fifth international Rubiaceae and Gentianales Conference
“Biodiversity in the light of historical information”
held at the Bergius Foundation, Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
Stockholm, Sweden, September 6–10, 2010.
Conference Statement
Phylogenetic analyses and the use of historical data have greatly enhanced our ability to understand
biodiversity in space and time.
This international conference will focus on recent progress in
the use of biodiversity data for improved estimation of phylogeny and its various applications. This
will hold promise for the future use of Rubiaceae and the Gentianales as model systems
for understanding flowering plant evolution.

The conference programme is now available. A short version can be accessed as standard html-pages from here , but the complete program, also including the submitted abstracts and list of participants, is available as a pdf-file from here .
